At the beginning of the academic year Lent Rise School invites pupils to apply for a Media Monitor role. This is exclusively for Y5 and Y6 students. Pupils are asked to complete an application form in which they identify their skills, qualities and experience. Pupils are also asked to pitch an idea they have.
The Media Monitors lead many exciting projects over the coming months including the development of a virtual school tour.
In February 2023 our Media Monitors developed a photography based project capturing moments around the school around the theme of 'Laughter'. Check out some of their photos below.
Our Media Monitors have been learning all about social media and how the different platforms reach different audiences. Pupils worked together to create engaging social media content using hashtags they've generated as a group. Take a look at some of their images from the #mybestwork project below.
