This term we are learning all about 'Our Community', looking at what is in our local area. We will read the book Martha maps it out and find where we live on a map. We will discuss different people who help us in our community and look at the role of a Doctor. During Summer 2 we will be looking at lifecycles focussing on plants. Children will have the opportunity to plant some seed, understand how to look after them and watch them grow.
In Maths we will be looking at positional language, children will begin to understand and describe where something is using key words behind, in front, under and next to. We then will begin to explore 2D and 3D shapes.
