Opening our House doors to Key Stage 1
From this term we are extending our House system to children in Reception and Key Stage 1. Sadly we don't have a sorting hat so Children will be allocated one of the four Houses (Cliveden, Lent, Huntercombe and Hitcham) by their teacher. They can then earn House-points for work, achievements or behavior that goes above and beyond for that child. The Houses also engage in good natured competition at events and sports
Other reward systems already in place in Key Stage 1 will continue alongside the House-points system.
The House system already works in Key Stage 2 to encourage pride and foster school spirit. We know that our younger year groups will be excited to join in.
