Each year Lent Rise School selects a number of Year 6 students to become Librarians.
Year 6's interested in the position apply in writing to Miss Boxall explaining why they would make a good librarian and an idea they have to improve the library.
Once selected duties include;
- manning the library during KS2 lunch
- scanning books in and out
- tidying the library shelves
- helping visitors select books
- supervise Accelerated Reader book quizzes
- read with KS1 children
