Each year we ask parents to complete a short survey about their experience at Lent Rise. The survey includes some questions similar to those Ofsted ask to help keep schools on track, but it is also a way of us finding out more about the needs and aspirations of the school community.
Over the years the survey has prompted many changes, such as provision of hot school meals, breakfast and afterschool club, changes to homework policy and school entry arrangements. We’ve published some of the headlines of the survey on our website but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank parents for their comments, particularly those in support of staff and the hard work they have put in this year.
The feedback was very positive and supportive. We used both positive and constructive feedback to further develop the school as well as celebrate good practice. Where the survey has identified challenges and opportunities for improvement we will be working with parents, children and staff over the next 12 months to move forward and build on our strengths.
